Father of the wounded young man: One Albanian held him, another stabbed him, the police took them into custody
The Kosovo police detained the Albanians who participated in the attack on the Serbian young man Boban Djuzic (19) and wounded him with a knife while he was walking his dog, RTV Plus reports.
The Kosovo police detained three Albanians who participated in the attack and the investigation is ongoing, says Boban's father Ivica.
"The child was walking the dog. On the way home they attacked him. The 46-year-old held him, and the other stabbed him. He has two wounds," says the father.
After receiving emergency help at the ambulance in Vrbovac, he was hospitalized around 2:00 p.m. at the hospital in Pasjan.
"Bojan was injured with a knife in the area of the upper part of the shoulder blade. After admission, the patient underwent surgical treatment, the bleeding was stopped and X-ray and ultrasound diagnostics were performed. He was admitted to the department and is currently out of danger," says Dr. Bojan Djoric, doctor on duty at the Gnjilane Health Center.
Boban had problems with local Albanians before, but he was never attacked with a knife.
"We are neither the first nor the last. Incidents are common in our village, Serbian boys are always injured. This is pathetic," says Boban's mother Jasmina.
Mogila is a multi-ethnic place near Klokot, in the Kosovo Pomoravlje district, where today Serbs live in about seventy houses, while there are twice as many Albanians.
