Journalist from RTV Puls attacked in the village of Gornji Livoc near Gnjilane

A group of Albanians attacked journalist Bojan Antic from RTV Puls in the village of Gornji Livoc near Gnjilane when he was returning with his relatives from a family celebration at his parents' house, who live in that village, RTV KIM reports.

On their way back from the family celebration, Antic and his relatives were attacked by Albanians, who blocked their way with a car and then pelted them with stones.

"We are locked in my parents' house and waiting for the police to arrive. My sisters came to the celebration, and they have license plates from central Serbia, so they recognized us. It is hard to endure all of this, and it's not the first time they have attacked us. I was quiet before, thinking that it would pass," Bojan Antic said for "Radio KIM" and "Politika".

He also added that his freedom of movement had been denied and that he had been humiliated on his patron saint's day.

"They cursed us and threw stones and bricks at us. Now we are like prisoners here and have nowhere to go," he said.

Minor material damage was inflicted on the cars.

Bojan Antic is an experienced journalist, editor, and author of numerous documentaries who has received multiple awards for his work.
