Kosovo Police: Three Serbs detained in Gracanica over materials with nationalist content
The Kosovo Police announced that three individuals of Serbian nationality were detained last night in the Gracanica area after several posters and signs with "nationalist content," as well as a drone device, were found in their car.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the Kosovo Police said that around 11:30 p.m. last night, a unit from the Regional Police of Pristina identified and stopped a vehicle, a Mazda with Serbian license plates, in the Gracanica area.
According to the statement, three individuals of Serbian nationality were in the vehicle: L.D. (23), J.P. (23), and D.D. (22).
"During a search of the vehicle and the individuals, several posters and signs with nationalist content were found, as well as a drone device inside the vehicle. The suspects were taken to the Gracanica Police Station, where all necessary procedural actions were undertaken," the statement said.
An investigation has been launched against the suspects for the criminal offense of "Inciting national, racial, religious, or ethnic hatred, discord, or intolerance."
"Kosovo Police remains committed to maintaining public order and safety and urges citizens to cooperate by reporting any actions or events that disturb public safety and order," the statement concluded.
