In Leposavic, the car of the chief of the municipal administration in the Serbian system set on fire
A "Toyota Auris" car registered with plates from Raska, belonging to the chief of the municipal administration of the Provisional Municipality of Leposavic, Radmila V., was set on fire this morning around four o'clock in Leposavic.
The car was set on fire in the parking lot near the high school, close to houses and residential buildings on Milan Radulovic Krcun Street. The car suffered significant material damage, and two other vehicles, a van and a smaller passenger car, were also damaged.
Residents living nearby say that firefighting teams and police arrived shortly at the scene, initiating an investigation, while forensic teams from Pristina arrived at the scene around 9 o'clock.
In addition to the burned car, two other vehicles, a van and a smaller car, parked in the parking lot suffered minor material damage, and a utility pole supplying nearby houses and residential buildings with electricity was also on fire.
Veton Elshani, the commander of the Kosovo Police for the Northern region, confirmed to Kosovo Online that a car had been set on fire early this morning in Leposavic. However, he added that the motive for setting the car on fire was still unknown and that forensic teams had arrived at the scene later to conduct an investigation during daylight hours.
