The mother of eleven-year-old Stefan, who was wounded on Christmas Day in Gotovusa, said that she was grateful to God that her son was alive and out of danger and that she was afraid to even think that the outcome could have been different, RTV Gracanica reports.

"I was in complete shock that day, and in order to calm me down, they told me that my child was not shot directly. However, in the conversation with Stefan, I came to the conclusion that they were shot on purpose and that they were lucky that everything ended with injuries," Zorica Stojanovic said and added that only now, after everything, could the real situation be seen.

Stojanovic pointed out that she had not been present at the place where it had happened, and that in the first moments, she had transmitted the information that had reached her. She emphasized that friends and relatives had wanted to alleviate the situation in order to calm her down.

"I am grateful to everyone who wanted to help us and protect me as a mother, because I was under a lot of stress and I was very scared, thank God that everything ended well, and now I know that it was an attempted murder," Stojanovic says.

She points out that she is quite sure that the Albanian shot at Stefan and Milos on purpose.

"I expect that the Albanian who shot will be punished most severely and I am asking the judicial authorities for that because this is unforgivable. I wonder how much longer, should someone suffer," Stojanovic asked.

According to the Pristina press, the Albanian who shot Stefan and Milos was ordered to be detained for up to 30 days.
