Rakic: We will never forget what you did to our children
The president of the Serb List, Goran Rakic, said today in Gracanica that, unfortunately, for Serbs and Serbian children in Kosovo, there was no peace even for the most joyous Christian holiday, Christmas.
"There was no peace even yesterday on Christmas Eve, it wasn't even the dawn when another young man was attacked in the municipality of Klokot. Today we visited Stefan and Milos and wished them a speedy recovery and that they return to their home as soon as possible," Rakic said.
Today, together with the mayor of Strpce and the vice-president of the Serb List, Dalibor Jevtic, Rakic visited the Serbian boys who were wounded yesterday in Gotovusa and on that occasion pointed out that the Serbs in Kosovo had been oppressed all these years.
"They tried in every way to expel us from these areas. I have a message for all those who do not want Serbs in these areas. We will never forget your children and we will never forgive you for what you did yesterday. I call on all competent authorities, above all the international community and KFOR to increase their presence and not help with announcements and condemnations, but by showing on the ground that they really care about protecting Serbs and other non-majority people living here," Rakic said.
He added that on today's most joyous Christian holiday, Christmas, he would say nothing more than:
"Peace of God, Christ is born".
