Over a century-old oak inscriptions destroyed at St. Petka Churchyard in Velika Hoca

At the churchyard of St. Petka in Velika Hoca, oak inscriptions over a hundred years old have been destroyed.
As Kosovo Online learns, unknown perpetrators were prevented from removing the felled trees and completely destroying all the oak inscriptions, so there are still a few left in Velika Hoca.
According to our information, the police conducted an investigation and filed a report.
The perpetrators have not been apprehended yet.
Oak inscriptions hold a special customary and religious significance among Orthodox Serbs and are considered "sacred trees."
