Lawyer Ljubomir Pantovic confirmed to Kosovo Online that his client, Serbian citizen Lazar Dejanovic, has been sentenced to one month in detention.
Dejanovic is charged with four criminal offenses related to the events of May 29th last year in front of the Zvecan Municipal Building.
Pantovic finds this decision "incredible," as he claims there is no criminal offense.
"It's incredible. There is not a single criminal offense. The session lasted unusually long, and no arguments were valid to the court. There is no reasonable doubt that he committed any offense, let alone those four," Pantovic said.
He announced that he would file an appeal against the detention decision.
Dejanovic was arrested a few days ago at the Bistrica checkpoint and is now in Grdina, a prison near Podujevo.
