The leader of the Self-Determination Movement, Albin Kurti, stated that there was a 'historic moment' to prevent the Serb List from participating in the parliamentary elections, but the PDK and LDK prevented the decision from being made, reports Danas.

Kurti commented on the Serbian List for the first time since members of Self-Determination in the CEC attempted at least three times to exclude it from the electoral race.

“It was a historic moment to not license, or rather not certify, the Serb List. PDK and LDK did not make quorum and prevented the decision from being made,” Kurti said in an interview for TV Istok, reports Kossev.

He dismissed the possibility of accepting autonomy for the north of Kosovo, and pointed out that “there are nine police stations on the border with Serbia and that all criminals are either in prison, or have been killed, or have fled.”

He also added that the situation in the north is significantly calmer than before.
