Savic: I do not expect security issues on election day

Zoran Savic from the NGO Aktiv stated to Kosovo Online that although there is some inflammatory rhetoric during the election campaign, which he says is a common occurrence worldwide, he does not expect any major security issues on election day.

"There should not be major challenges. I assume that along with the Kosovo Police, members of EULEX and KFOR will develop an operational plan to ensure the election day passes without incidents. I do not expect incidents given that many Serbian parties are participating in these parliamentary elections," Savic mentioned.

He also added that the Central Election Commission (CEK) has prepared an operational plan for election day and that the day should pass peacefully.
