Sentic: Electoral process without major irregularities, I expect the will of the voters to be confirmed
Deputy Ombudsman Srdjan Sentic told Kosovo Online that the voting process, both in the north and across Kosovo as a whole, is proceeding without major irregularities.
Around 1 pm, Sentic visited the polling center at the “Vuk Karadzic” Elementary School in Zvecan and confirmed that voting is taking place in accordance with electoral rules.
“As was the case in previous elections, the Ombudsman institution decided to accredit its staff to monitor the electoral process. What I can say is that, based on what we have seen in all municipalities in the north and across Kosovo, there are no major irregularities that could affect the regularity of the electoral process,” Sentic said.
He added that he expects the will of the voters to be confirmed.
“My expectation is that all segments of Kosovo society will show a high level of maturity when it comes to the electoral process, and that in the end the will of the voters will be confirmed. What is most important is that after the elections there should be a move toward a broader democratic process that would also result in greater inclusiveness,” Sentic emphasized.
