Serb List: Kurti’s threats on integration of health and education are not part of any negotiations
The Serb List stated today that the fact that Albin Kurti speaks favorably of certain individual Serbs while attacking Serb List says enough about whom the Serbs in Kosovo should vote for in the upcoming local elections on October 12.
The statement stresses that threats of an alleged integration of healthcare and education into the Kosovo system are not part of any negotiations or agreements.
“These are the pillars of the survival of the Serbian people, and they will remain so. All international agreements clearly stipulate that these are separate systems, and that is what Serb List, with the support of the Serbian people, will continue to fight for. Still, this is a clear threat to which we expect an even stronger reaction from the international community,” the statement underlined.
The Serb List emphasized that Serbs will never allow anyone to impose representatives upon them, no matter how persistently such attempts have been made in recent years from ‘Kurti’s kitchen,’ just as they will never ‘sell their faith for a meal’ or allow others to determine their future or ‘fashion their cap.’
“Likewise, the crumbs that, during his reign of fear, were handed out to some who blindly followed his orders will not buy off any honorable Serb. By surrounding himself with certain yes-men, Kurti thought that all Serbs around him are the same, ready to sell their faith for a meal,” the statement continued.
They told Kurti that he will never intimidate them nor prevent them from speaking publicly about the repression and violations of the rights of the Serbian people, adding that his attacks on the Serb List and fabricated processes against its leadership are the best confirmation that the party is on the right path and that its policies are sound.
“It is better to be condemned for loyalty to our people and to be criticized by him every day than to be praised. Woe to the Serb who is praised by Albin Kurti,” the statement concluded.
