At polling stations in the center of Zvecan, located in Vuk Karadzic Elementary School, crowds gathered this morning as citizens lined up to exercise their voting rights in the parliamentary elections.

They all agree that their main expectation is improvement.

"I expect better days, for things to be good for us. You know how it is…" an elderly woman from Zvecan said.

Her fellow resident shared the same sentiment, emphasizing that such progress would mean staying in their homes.

"I hope things get better. Our children have no jobs, I’m old, my pension is small. Hopefully, something will change for the better. We are hoping for better days and to stay where our home is," she said.

A local man briefly stated that he "expects the best from these elections."

Younger voters are also placing their hopes on these elections.

"I hope the elections will go smoothly and that the best possible representatives will be chosen for the Serbian people," one young man said.
