Brnabic: The inclusion of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the "Open Balkan" would contribute to the economic improvement of all citizens of the region

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, today hosted the new ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Belgrade, Aleksandar Vranjes, wishing him a welcome and a successful mandate.

Brnabic assessed that there was a lot of room for further improvement of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of economy, and emphasized the importance of implementing joint infrastructure projects, among which the construction project of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway stood out.

Speaking about the "Open Balkan" initiative, she said that the membership of Bosnia and Herzegovina would contribute to the inclusiveness of that initiative and the economic improvement of all citizens of the region.

The interlocutors had agreed that they would work together to strengthen and improve cooperation between the two countries in all areas of mutual importance, the Government of Serbia announced.
