Member of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Haki Abazi, criticized acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti after his statement that Serbia is attempting to sabotage the establishment of Kosovo’s new Assembly and Government. Abazi stated that Kurti is actually trying to cover up his own failure to form institutions by stirring up tensions and panic among the public.

"Kurti cannot form a government and that’s why he is trying to create panic and crisis. Kosovo has had no benefit from him to this day," Abazi wrote in a Facebook post.

He claimed that Kurti is unlawfully remaining in the Prime Minister’s office and that all his meetings and statements are "fake," including, as he said, the interviews he gives to "Russian journalists."
Abazi further assessed that Kurti’s narrative about a security threat from Serbia is actually an attempt to delay the formation of institutions.

He warned that such statements harm Kosovo’s economic interests and stability, especially at a time when, according to him, NATO is strengthening its presence and security guarantees in the region.

"The aesthetics of flowers are trying to mask the isolation Kurti finds himself in, as well as the measures imposed on him by the EU and the U.S. At the same time, no Albanian parliamentary party sees him as a partner anymore," Abazi concluded, adding that Kurti "has betrayed both promises and the blood of activists for the sake of power and office."
