Lumir Abdixhiku, President of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has stated that Kosovo is continuing its path towards isolation and loneliness, following the cancellation of the joint session of the governments of Kosovo and Albania, as reported by Gazeta Ekspres.

Abdixhiku described this news as detrimental to all Albanians.

"Unfortunately, Kosovo continues its path towards isolation and loneliness. This time, like never before, we have been left without Albania. We are and will be without any ally who has stood by us in every difficult phase. This is not the Kosovo we ever imagined," Abdixhiku continued.

Abdixhiku sees Prime Minister Albin Kurti as the main culprit in this situation.

"Kurti's confrontation with the West jeopardizes the sovereignty of Kosovo itself. Instead of behaving as a responsible prime minister who maintains partnerships and advances national issues toward the West, he brings crisis and isolation. His political adventure cannot represent our nation," Abdixhiku said.
