Abdixhiku: North destabilized as a result of Kurti's mistakes

President of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, accused Prime Minister Albin Kurti of unilaterally destabilizing the north, as reported by Lajmi.

"As a result of Kurti's mistakes, the north has been destabilized, many journalists have been beaten, KFOR soldiers have been attacked, allies have imposed sanctions on Kosovo, and everything will return to square one. Elections will be organized in the north, and Serbian mayors will return to municipalities," Abdixhiku said on RTV21.

He expressed fear that within a year, due to the agreements of Kurti's government, there would no longer be talk of the Community of Serb Municipalities but rather territorial autonomy, reminding of Point 7 of the Agreement on the Normalization of Relations between Kosovo and Serbia from February 27th.

"Article 7 speaks about the self-governance of the Serbian community, and self-governance is much more than association. I fear that today we find ourselves in a situation on the ground in the north that favors territorial autonomy for Serbs. I'm afraid that with this policy, in a year's time, we won't be talking about the Community but rather territorial autonomy," Abdixhiku said, as reported by Telegrafi.
