Action by Kosovo Police Special Forces at several locations in North Mitrovica and Zvecan

Special units of the Kosovo Police conducted raids at various locations in North Mitrovica and Zvecan today.

As witnesses on-site reported to our portal, the special police entered an apartment near the hospital in North Mitrovica and a building in the Bosniak Mahala neighborhood. The operation did not last long, as they withdrew shortly after the search. The reason for the search operation is unknown.

Simultaneously, a house in Zvecan was searched. As in the case of North Mitrovica, the reason for this search remains unknown, and the police did not allow media teams to film or take photos.

Earlier today, a Serbian individual, M.M., was detained in Leposavic due to a photo with a firearm he had posted on social media some time ago. During the operation, a search of his house was also conducted, but as we have learned, no firearms were found.
