Ahmeti: Kurti is a political chameleon, he changes and adapts to circumstances
Political analyst Arben Ahmeti says that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti will not succumb to pressure from the international community to form the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, Ekonomia Online reports.
According to Ahmeti, the international community is very interested in Albin Kurti remaining in power as long as possible in order to be demystified.
"Kurti is an ordinary politician who changes and adapts depending on the circumstances. But what distinguishes Kurti from others is his insistence on his initial ideas. I interpret Kurti based on his sentence when he says that we have changed the means but not the ends. And when we speak about these goals he once had, we speak about national unity and the red flag," Ahmeti says.
He adds that Kurti is "declaratively actually the biggest political chameleon."
"If you look and compare Albin Kurti from 2013 with Albin Kurti from 2023, you won't believe your ears, but I don't believe that much has changed in the content of the Self-Determination Movement because it is a philosophical group of party ideology that the opposition recently attacked and identified as Tirana's group," Ahmeti evaluates.
