Brnabic on Kurti's statement about unpaid electricity bills in the north of Kosovo: A brutal lie
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic says that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's statement that Serbia "via the parallel structures it controls in the north" damaged Kosovo for hundreds of millions of euros through unpaid bills for electricity and utilities, is a brutal lie.
"This is just one example of the extent and audacity of the lies of Albin Kurti. Can one imagine to what extent he lies about things which are less easy to check, and less obvious (also less known) than this? Brutal," Brnabic stated on Twitter.
The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, responded last night with a tweet on his account to the attacks by Albin Kurti and his ministers on members of the Serbian community in the north of Kosovo, in which he wrote that only lies come from Kurti.
"Lie and nothing but lie by Albin Kurti. For two decades, Belgrade had financially supported electricity consumption in the north of K&M, and, just as an example, between November 2009 and December 2020, we allocated 171 million euros for that purpose. That is why Kurti should find another excuse for empty treasury and stop lying and criminalizing Serbs. The only one responsible for non-implementation of the energy Road Map is PR, which doesn't want to allocate distributive services to Elektrosever," Petkovic wrote and called on Pristina to stop fake news.
