Albin Kurti postponed the implementation of the vehicle re-registration decision for 48 hours, at the US request

The Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti accepted the request of the US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier and for 48 hours postponed the implementation of the decision on fines for citizens who do not have RKS license plates on their cars, Kosovan news portal Koha reports.

In his post on Twitter, Kurti thanked the US Ambassador for his commitment.

"I accept his request for a 48-hour postponement on imposition of fines for illegal 'KM' (and other) car plates. I am happy to work with the US and the EU to find a solution during the next two days," Kurti tweeted.
