In Jarinje this afternoon, around 6:00 p.m., a Serb M. J., a former policeman, was arrested, who was returning from the direction of Raska to Leposavic, where he lives, with his wife and two minor children, aged seven and five.

The wife of the arrested person, who did not want her name mentioned, told Kosovo Online that, even after reviewing the documents at the Jarinje administrative crossing when leaving Kosovo, they had been told that something had been wrong, but they had been allowed to continue their journey.

At that time, she reported, the police officers had said that it had probably been a mistake.

However, on their return, they were first held at Jarinje administrative crossing for an hour and a half, due to the alleged procedure and error correction.

The woman, with two children, had to wait in the car and, as she says, she saw at one point how Kosovo police officers, armed with rifles, handcuffed her husband and took him away in the direction of North Mitrovica.

Relatives came to pick up the shaken woman and two children since she does not have a driver's license.
