Bernacca with representatives of the Serb List: KFOR is well-positioned to handle all relevant security developments
Deputy Commander of the KFOR mission, General Federico Bernacca, received a delegation from the Serbian List today and listened to their concerns regarding the latest developments in the north, assuring them that the mission has a visible and flexible presence throughout Kosovo and is well-positioned to handle all relevant security developments, according to a statement from KFOR.
"They shared views on the latest security developments, including those in northern Kosovo. General Bernacca listened to the concerns expressed by the visiting delegation. He emphasized that KFOR has a visible and flexible presence throughout Kosovo and is well-positioned to handle all relevant security developments," the statement reads.
General Bernacca also reiterated the firm commitment of this mission to contribute to security and stability for all people living in Kosovo, at all times and impartially, in accordance with its longstanding UN mandate.
"In this regard, KFOR continues to fully support the EU-facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina," the statement adds.
The meeting was held at the KFOR headquarters in Film City Camp in Pristina, and the delegation of the Serb List was led by the party's president, Zlatan Elek.
