Zogiani mocks KFOR for the increased presence: They are testing the bridge, thanks to them for that

Deputy Finance Minister Avni Zogiani reacted to KFOR's increased presence on the main bridge over the Ibar River, saying that "KFOR is testing the stability of the bridge in that way."

According to him, this is a preliminary test before the final report.

He wrote on Facebook that KFOR should have waited for the final report from the ministry.

"Preliminary testing before the final report? Yesterday, there were no incidents at the five locations when the offices of Serbia's parallel and illegal municipalities in northern Kosovo were closed. Today, KFOR and the Carabinieri are conducting an exercise on the main bridge over the Ibar, which I believe was planned earlier and not last night. Perhaps it would have been better for KFOR to wait for the final report on the professional and technical assessment of the physical stability of the bridge before crossing it with heavy vehicles. So far, we only have a preliminary report. This assessment was a request from the Quint to us as the government, which we are fulfilling. I believe we should thank KFOR for this testing of the main bridge in Mitrovica, although such an undertaking was not without risk," he wrote.

Similarly, Self-Determination member Agim Bahtiri also mocked KFOR forces. Today, he jokingly asked the Italian Carabinieri forces stationed on the bridge not to test it.
