Brnabic: I do not see the Albanians in Kosovo as enemies; Kurti's policy is disastrous for them as well
The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, said that she did not see the Albanians in Kosovo as enemies and that it was her wish that the Albanians in Kosovo be as well off as the Serbs.
Brnabic believes that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is equally disastrous for both Serbs and Albanians living in Kosovo.
"I don't see anyone as an enemy. I don't see Albanians as enemies. I think that what Albin Kurti is doing is just as disastrous for the Albanians in Kosovo. My agenda is for the Albanians in Kosovo to be just as good as the Serbs. If there was stability that would ensure economic prosperity, jobs, investments, if people saw that they had a job and some perspective for themselves, no one would want to go to war. But, I think that Albin Kurti's policy is disastrous for Albanians, especially for the younger generation. I see no perspective there," Brnabic said.
Branbic added that Serbia wanted peace and stability.
"Imagine now a different situation, if Albin Kurti, for example, pragmatically accepted before this difficult winter and challenging times, that we cooperate in the field of energy, how much it would relax the whole situation, how different it would be. No, he refused. So I do not see them as enemies, I think it would be disastrous if I saw anyone as enemies. What we need is peace and stability," Brnabic said.
