Today, the Prime Minister, Ana Brnabic, called on the EU to help Dejan Pantic to be released from custody, stating that she was appalled by what was happening to him, RTV reports.

Answering the questions of journalists after the meeting organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia, she reminded that recently there had been many such arrests of innocent people and assessed that the crisis in the province had been caused in order for Albin Kurti to put pressure on Belgrade.

According to her, everything would have been different in Kosovo if the Brussels Agreement had been applied, because the situation would have been more stable and peaceful, talks with Pristina would have continued, and the Serbs would have returned to Pristina's institutions.

Brnabic said that she could not call on the Serbs to remove the barricades from the north of Kosovo if armed Special Forces raided their children's kindergartens.

"How can I tell the Serbs at the barricades from the comfort of Belgrade to be patient and tolerant? What if they take their children to kindergarten and the armed ROSU Special Forces raid them there? If your children in the kindergarten were not safe, would you be at the barricades," the Prime Minister asked, answering the question of whether she would call on the Serbs to remove the barricades.

She called for the implementation of the Brussels Agreement and said that she did not understand why it could not be implemented and what the problem was.

Brnabic also stated that there were major disagreements with the US regarding the issue of Kosovo, but she added that the cooperation with the American side was better than ever in the last 30 years and that thanks to this a solution had been found for license plates and ID cards.
