Brnabic with Sarrazin: Pristina to fulfill the agreements and form the CSM as soon as possible
The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, spoke today with the Special Envoy of Germany for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin, about the situation in Kosovo, and emphasized Serbia's commitment to preserving peace and stability, and added that Belgrade expected full implementation of the signed agreements.
The Prime Minister pointed out the importance of establishing the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities as soon as possible, adding that she expected support that would enable permanent stability in the region with the implementation of existing agreements.
Sarrazin agreed that the talks between Belgrade and Pristina were the basis for further progress, announced the Government of Serbia.
The meeting also discussed the situation in the region, as well as bilateral relations between Serbia and Germany.
Brnabic emphasized that the partnership between the two countries was progressing, which was confirmed by the fact that Germany was Serbia's leading foreign trade partner.
The Prime Minister pointed out that cooperation in the region was a strategic commitment of Serbia with the aim of not only the economic development of the region, but also as an idea of connecting and unifying the region and bringing it closer to the European Union, and stated that Serbia sincerely supported the initiative of the Berlin Process.
Sarrazin emphasized the importance of further steps to establish a common regional market and expressed the expectation that the results of the Berlin Process initiative would enable the creation of a more prosperous environment and provide concrete benefits for the residents of the region.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Germany to Serbia, Anke Konrad.
