Bugaqku: By withdrawing her request, Osmani undermined the independence of the Constitutional Court

Researcher at the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), Vullnet Bugaqku, stated that Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, by withdrawing her request from the Constitutional Court, undermined the functional independence of that court, RTV 21 reports.

“Yesterday, through her actions and the manner in which she withdrew the request, Osmani undermined and violated the functional independence of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo,” Bugaqku said on RTV 21.

He added that, in a way, “the President of Kosovo took the side of Albin Kurti, and acted against the Constitution.”
