Dacic: Kurti wants to create an atmosphere of fear and evict the Serbs from Kosovo

Commenting on the terror that Albin Kurti is perpetrating on the Serbs in Kosovo, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, told Pink that it was a picture and an opportunity of what we had come to by ignoring all the acts and what had been signed all these years.

"If we look at the evaluations coming from the EU, the USA, and all other countries, they are very negative comments and dissatisfaction with Kurti's policy," Dacic said.

As he says, the goal is to create an atmosphere of fear and to create the conditions for the emigration of the Serbs from Kosovo.

"We warned all the time that we were coming to a field where there were many "landmines" and where we didn't know where the "minefield" would end, and it all ended with verbal condemnations and no concrete results or measures against Pristina," Dacic said.

As he says, we have a process here that goes completely against the expectations of all those who lead this dialogue, which is a kind of calming down and solving life issues and relationships.

"For us, the central issue is the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, but that is by no means up to us," Dacic said.

Dacic said that some wanted to present that everything we did, was done under Russian influence and control.

"Also, they think that the Open Balkan is a Russian idea, and that has nothing to do with it," Dacic said and added that when they wanted to offend someone, they said that those were pro-Russian.

As he says, in the US even today they say that Russians are "reds", adding that it certainly has nothing to do with the authorities in Russia, but that the narrative has remained.

"They are mobilizing their electorate that way, presenting Russia as a danger," Dacic said.

He said that the past month had seen very dynamic political activity in our country. He adds that there were five ministers of foreign affairs, and the sixth is coming to visit Serbia soon.

"These are not casual visits, we are talking about serious topics and serious people," Dacic said, adding that some larger countries than Serbia did not have this continuity.
