The Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, stated in an interview with RTS that we have been in a state of escalation for months due to the irresponsible behavior of Albin Kurti, who is causing conflict situations.

Commenting on the arrival of KFOR in front of the municipality buildings in northern Kosovo, Dacic said that KFOR's task was to prevent unilateral actions by Pristina, not to prevent employees from entering the buildings.

"They are now protecting the mayors under the pretext of preserving peace. It seems they are protecting them from the building owners, the Serbs, from those who work there, who are employed there. In Serbian municipalities, mayors who were not elected by the Serbs cannot be allowed," Dacic said.

He emphasizes that the armed forces of Serbia are in a state of readiness.

"We won't allow Serbian victims due to the unpreparedness of the international community and Kurti's warmongering," Dacic concluded.
