Ilija Elezovic, Zoran Kostic, and Dragan Milovic, who are charged by the Specialist Prosecutor's Office with the criminal offense of war crimes, have had their detention extended for another two months, attorney Predrag Miljkovic confirmed for Kosovo Online.

Zoran Kostic's lawyer, Predrag Miljkovic, stated that he would file an appeal within 48 hours.

"The extension is unfounded, just as the initial detention order was unfounded because the prosecutor's office lacks evidence to support the well-founded suspicion, and this became very clear from the request for an extension when the prosecutor's office announced investigative actions that they said at the detention hearing session had already been carried out," Miljkovic said.

He believes that the detention decision was not made in accordance with the law.

"The defense believes that the specialist prosecutor's office, in this case as in many others, requests detention 'just in case,' and not as required by law," Miljkovic said.

Zoran Kostic was arrested in late September in front of his home in Priluzje and has been in detention in Podujevo since then.
