Djuric and Konrad discuss Serbia’s EU integration and unblocking the Belgrade–Pristina dialogue

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric met today with German Ambassador Anke Konrad to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, Serbia’s European integration process, efforts to unblock the Belgrade–Pristina dialogue, the Berlin Process, regional issues, and other topics of mutual interest.

Noting that Germany is Serbia’s largest trading partner and one of its most significant bilateral donors, Djuric assessed that relations between the two countries are broad-based and strong, adding that there is considerable potential and a strong mutual commitment to further enhance cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, education, science, innovation, and digitalization, according to a statement issued by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The minister expressed gratitude for Germany’s support for Serbia’s EU accession process and emphasized that Belgrade is fully committed to implementing its reform agenda as swiftly as possible.

As Ambassador Konrad is concluding her diplomatic mission in Belgrade, Djuric thanked her for her cooperation to date and wished her every personal happiness and success in her new assignment.
