Serbia's Foreign Minister Marko Djuric emphasized at the informal "Friends of the Western Balkans" gathering that Serbia is a responsible partner in the region and supports all regional initiatives, including both the Berlin Process and the Open Balkan initiative.

Djuric expressed his gratitude to the host of the gathering, Italy’s Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, who hosted the informal meeting of the "Friends of the Western Balkans" Group this morning with representatives from the region, through a post on the social media platform "X".

"Serbia continues to be a responsible and constructive partner in the Western Balkans, demonstrating openness and readiness for regional cooperation," stated Djuric.

He specifically highlighted that, in terms of regional policy, Serbian diplomatic representatives are actively working to create a friendly environment for Serbia, enabling it to continue its economic and overall social development.

"We also support regional integration processes, from the Berlin Process to our homegrown initiative, Open Balkan, which has already produced results—enabling a unified labor market with our neighbors, Albania and North Macedonia," Djuric emphasized.
