Djuric with Lipavsky: Serbs in Kosovo under daily pressures, Pristina has not formed the CSM

Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Marko Djuric, had a conversation with the Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky, during which he conveyed that due to many recent events and unilateral actions by the Kosovo authorities, the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina has not progressed. He emphasized that Serbs in Kosovo suffer various pressures daily, while the Pristina side has not fulfilled what was agreed in the agreements, primarily the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities.

In the telephone conversation, Djuric and Lipavsky highlighted the good relations between the two countries, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.

The head of Serbian diplomacy noted that Serbia and the Czech Republic are bound by long-standing friendly relations, both at the political level and in other areas of inter-state cooperation.

He thanked the Czech Republic for the support it provides to Serbia on its path to full membership in the European Union, stating that this is of great importance in the accession process.

Discussing current political developments in the world, Djuric said that Serbia wants to play a constructive role and will always be a reliable partner to the international community, adding that one of the fundamental goals of our country is the preservation of peace and stability in the region.

The counterparts noted that, although Serbia and the Czech Republic do not always share the same views on certain issues, this does not hinder the good relations between the two states and peoples.

They expressed hope that the practice of holding political consultations between the two ministries will continue, aiming to build even closer cooperative and trustful relationships.
