Djuric meets with German and Finnish Ambassadors to discuss dialogue with NATO and the situation in Kosovo

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Djuric, met today with the German Ambassador, Anke Konrad, and the Finnish Ambassador, Niklas Lindkvist, to discuss the dialogue with the NATO alliance and the continuation of cooperation and activity coordination.

Expressing satisfaction that Germany and Finland are jointly assuming the role of NATO contact embassies for cooperation between Serbia and NATO, the minister emphasized Serbia's openness to continuing collaboration and coordinating activities through the available mechanisms of the "Partnership for Peace" program.

In this regard, he highlighted the importance of activities in the field of public diplomacy, aimed at adequately and objectively informing the public about the scope and content of this form of cooperation, according to the statement from Serbia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Djuric stressed that relations between Serbia and NATO are based on a partnership, aligned with Serbia's policy of military neutrality, with the goal of maintaining regional stability and security.

"The head of Serbian diplomacy stated that Serbia maintains regular dialogue with NATO's political and military structures, contributing to better mutual understanding on key issues of interest to Serbia, particularly concerning the situation in Kosovo and Metohija," the statement read.
