Djuric with Sorensen: Establishment of the CSM and fulfillment of obligations are necessary for resuming the dialogue

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric emphasized today, in talks with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade–Pristina dialogue, Peter Sorensen, that the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities and the fulfillment of all agreed obligations are necessary for the resumption of meaningful dialogue.

Djuric wrote on Instagram that he had discussed the continuation of the dialogue and the situation in Kosovo with Sorensen.

He pointed out that obstructive and destabilizing rhetoric of confrontation, as well as the actions of representatives of Pristina, continue to harm the dialogue and undermine peace and security throughout the region.

“Emphasizing Belgrade’s continuous constructive role, the need for increased international engagement in the province, and the fact that the rights and security of Serbs must be respected, I underlined that the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities and the fulfillment of all agreed obligations are necessary to resume meaningful dialogue and enable lasting stability,” Minister Djuric wrote.
