Dodik: Kurti is looking for an alibi for not fulfilling international obligations

By scaring the world with Republika Srpska, which is a constitutional category, Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti is only looking for an alibi for not fulfilling his international obligations, thus deepening the crisis and delaying the solution, the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said, as reported by RTV.

"The Republika Srpska has its own government, which it gets in democratic elections, and its policy is not dictated from the outside, not even from Belgrade as suggested by Kurti," Dodik said in a statement for Srna when asked to comment on Kurti's statement that due to a "bitter experience" from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as he said, he would not allow the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities (CSM) in Kosovo, because he did not want Serbia to "copy the model" of Republika Srpska.

He pointed out that Pristina undertook to form the CSM by signing the Brussels Agreement, and Kurti had been refusing that persistently, which had nothing to do with Republika Srpska nor Serbia.

Dodik said that Kurti's fixation on Belgrade and persistent blame-seeking in Belgrade was completely understandable if it was known that he stole his fake state from Serbia and now wanted to shout "hold the thief" around the region.

"Republika Srpska has been inhabited by Serbs for hundreds of years, just as they inhabited Kosovo and Metohija until someone decided to play with the heart of Serbian statehood by settling Albanians in the southern Serbian province. By violent secession from the motherland, in defiance of all international rules, by simply voting in the Assembly, Kurti's fake state declared independence, which has not been recognized by the largest number of countries in the world, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as long as there is Republika Srpska, that decision will not be changed," the President of Srpska stated.

He reminded that Republika Srpska fulfilled its international obligations, advocated for peace both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the region, and could not in any way be associated with Kurti's fake state.
