EU: No unilateral actions regarding the Ibar Bridge, any decision must be made through dialogue
The European Union reiterated its stance that the opening of the Ibar Bridge is a matter of dialogue and that any decision regarding its opening must be made within that process, reports Klan Kosova.
An EU spokesperson told Klan Kosova that discussions about the opening of the bridge are ongoing and that the EU is closely cooperating with international partners in Kosovo.
"All agreements made in the dialogue, including the one about the bridge, must be fully implemented. The Union calls on all parties to refrain from any uncoordinated and unilateral actions," the spokesperson stated, reflecting the EU's position.
He reiterated that the EU plans to put the issue of the bridge on the agenda for the next dialogue meeting.
"Each dialogue meeting will be announced in a timely manner," the Union spokesperson added.
Yesterday, EU spokesperson Nabila Massrali also stated that the European Union is planning a meeting between representatives of Kosovo and Serbia to discuss the status of the Ibar Bridge.
