Fatmir Humolli: More dissatisfied members may leave Self-Determination

Independent MP of the Kosovo Assembly, Fatmir Humolli, stated that members of the Self-Determination Movement were dissatisfied with the current situation within the party, and he did not exclude the possibility of more members leaving the ruling party, Gazeta Blic reports.

"I know one thing, that the majority of MPs do not accept the current situation as it is. They see this situation as bad," he said.

Humolli, therefore, does not exclude the possibility of more people leaving the Self-Determination Movement and believes that the party needs to face internal self-criticism rather than insisting on the wrong approach.

"This is about dignity and political work with every member of parliament, but I am convinced that after Haki's (Abazi) departure, there is a possibility for the Self-Determination Movement to mobilize internal self-criticism, which would force it to work better. If they do not do a better job, then they approach the MPs wrongly, and the MPs have the option to react and leave the party, as I did, as Hakija did," Humolli said for Front Online.

In two years of government, the Self-Determination Movement lost three MPs from its parliamentary group.

Doarsa Kica Xhelili from GUXO, Haki Abazi, and Fatmir Humolli are three MPs who are no longer part of the Self-Determination Movement in the Kosovo Assembly.
