The head of the delegation of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPO) in the European Parliament, Harald Vilimsky, and the head of the FPO parliamentary group in the Vienna Assembly, Maximilian Krauss, assessed the "blackmail methods" applied by the EU to membership candidate Serbia as completely unacceptable.

In the statement, they indicate that in recent days there have been increasingly frequent reports that Serbia is being forced to impose sanctions on Russia and accept the Kosovo independence so that it can continue the accession process.

"The EU is twisting the arms of the candidate for membership more and more only because its president does not want to follow all the points of the EU elite's failed politics and because he watches his people. While in Turkey, the ruler Erdogan, who is even waging war against Kurz and does not even think about sanctions against Russia, he enjoys every freedom, and completely different rules are applied against Serbia. The hypocrisy of the EU is becoming increasingly intolerable," Vilimsky and Krauss emphasized.
