French Embassy in Kosovo: Concerned about the decision of the CEC not to certify the candidacy of the Serb List

The French Embassy in Kosovo has expressed concern over the decision of the Central Election Commission in Pristina not to certify the candidacy of the Serb List for the elections on February 9 in Kosovo.

The embassy has called on the CEC to support the integrity of the Kosovar electoral process based on the appropriate legal procedures.

"We express concern about the CEC's decision not to certify the candidacy of the Serb List for the upcoming elections. The certification process is a procedural matter that supports democratic elections and should be free from political considerations," the statement from the French embassy published on the social network "X" said.
