The German government does not want to comment on Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama's proposal to organize a high-level conference for Kosovo and Serbia, where it would be forbidden for the leaders to leave the meeting without an agreement, Gazeta Express reports.

According to the German government, regarding the situation in the north of Kosovo, they are in constant coordination with all actors.

"We ask for your understanding that we do not comment on the proposal of the Albanian Prime Minister. In addition, together with our European partners and EU Special Representative Lajcak, we are in constant exchange with all relevant actors for the latest developments in the north of Kosovo," the spokesperson of the German government said for Gazeta Express.

Rama's proposal was supported by the President of the Council of the European Union, Charles Michel, and followed the tensions in the north of Kosovo and the halt in the implementation of the Ohrid Agreement.
