The Government of Serbia will hold a meeting tonight at 8 pm, at which Belgrade's request to return the Serbian army and police to Kosovo per UN Security Council Resolution 1244 will be officially adopted, Novosti found.

According to that newspaper, the cabinet should meet in the "Serbia" Palace, and President Aleksandar Vucic will also be present.

Speaking of Resolution 1244, its article concerning the return of Serbian security forces is formulated in such a way that it implies KFOR's obligation to facilitate the arrival of the Serbian army and police in Kosovo territory.

Germany's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Annalena Baerbock, and the US Special Envoy, Gabriel Escobar, have openly spoken out against this idea in recent days, which directly violated the norms of international law and the United Nations.
