Vucic: In light of so-called Kosovo's application for the EU, I ask the West which of the signed agreements it honors

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said that he asked the Western partners once again whether they would honor the agreements that they themselves had made.

In a video message to Serbia citizens published on Instagram, Vucic said that he asked the West to tell him which of the five or six important documents they want to honor.

"The Kumanovo Agreement, the UN Charter, Resolution 1244, the Brussels Agreement, or the Washington Agreement. We have come to the sixth very important European Union document, the famous Thessaloniki document from 2003, on the expansion of the European Union to the Western Balkans," Vucic explained.

Vucic added that there was a clause in the Thessaloniki Agreement stating that the implementation of Resolution 1244 would be supported.

"And in light of the submission of the EU membership application of so-called Kosovo, my question is whether they will honor the documents that they themselves had made, even the historical one from Thessaloniki because in Article 5 of the Thessaloniki document it is said that it fully supports the implementation of Resolution 1244. So my question today is which of these six documents you want to honor, and we will absolutely agree," Vucic said.
