Former US Special Envoy for Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Richard Grenell called the statement of journalist Laurence Norman pathetic, who said that the European Union was dissatisfied with the way Donald Trump's administration dealt with the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue issue.

That is how Grenell responded to Norman's tweet, which pointed out that it was unprecedented that Brussels harshly criticized Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

"I have never seen Brussels so heavily criticize Kosovo. It is unprecedented. Likely reflects real anger at Albin Kurti. Lots of Euro unhappiness at how US policy handled this issue under Trump admin but the truth is it's gotten worse since," Norman wrote on Twitter.

Grenell called this statement pathetic, adding that the Trump administration had reached four agreements between Kosovo and Serbia.

"Pathetic. Do you have Google, Lawrence? Trump's team got 4 successful agreements while Brussels complained that the U.S. was too tough on Kurti. Now Brussels fails and calls out Kurti - and you don’t see the hypocrisy?", Grenell wrote on Twitter.
