Haziri: Lajcak criticized two conditions for the formation of the CSM, reciprocity, and parallel structures
The vice-president of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lutfi Haziri, says that the EU envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, said at the last meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti that he had had objections to two of Kurti's six conditions, namely the principle of reciprocity and the principle of parallel structures, Reporteri reports.
"Lajcak has objections to reciprocity and the issue of parallel structures. Parallel structures for international partners do not exist; those are boycotts, structures that emerged from institutions. We identify them as having the same structure. While reciprocity takes over the organization of Albanians in the east of Kosovo, it is also one of the principles that it cannot afford," Haziri said.
Haziri, for ATV, warned that some Kosovo politicians would soon be sanctioned by the United States of America and that the sanctions would be introduced in the spring.
"I believe that the American government and the American people have a special relationship with Kosovo. They have relations with Kosovo, not with officials. I do not expect collective measures due to the decisions of politicians in Kosovo. Politicians can have sanctions, we have a large number of them on the black list, a number have already been sanctioned, a number will be sanctioned in the spring," Haziri said.
