Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Enver Hoxhaj said today that it is unthinkable that Kosovo appears as an opponent of the West at international conferences. He said this in response to the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gervalla, that the EU is a "paper tiger" and cannot ensure peace in Europe.

Hoxhaj wrote on Facebook that the current "tea party" diplomacy has led to the international community seeing Kosovo as an opponent and Serbia as a partner.

"It was unthinkable that Kosovo appears at international conferences as an opponent of the West, replacing Serbia and the autocracies of Eastern Europe in this role! There has been a change of roles - Kosovo is now an opponent, and Serbia is seen as a partner, as happened today in Dubrovnik. The logic of tea party diplomacy sees Secretary Blinken as naive, and the EU as a paper tiger!" wrote Hoxhaj.
