The former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, believes that the Government must answer whether the claims that some countries withdrew recognition of independence are true and added that Kosovo is going from one failure to another due to bad politics.

In a post on Facebook, Hoxhaj states that the current government's bad politics has contributed to Kosovo not receiving new independence recognition for two years.

"Bad opinions, threats and mistakes, and a barren foreign policy indicate that Kosovo is going from one failure to another! For two years, Kosovo has not received any recognition! On the contrary, Serbia is hitting Kosovo from all sides. From the attack on internal sovereignty in the north, we now have the fight against external sovereignty with the list of withdrawn Kosovo recognitions," Hoxhaj said.

Hoxhaj added that Kosovo was recognized by 115 countries while he was the minister.

"Today, the Government must clarify whether the claims that some recognitions were withdrawn are true. It is the vital interest of Kosovo to show whether these claims are true and whether the president, prime minister and foreign affairs minister hold the responsibility for that failure," Hoxhaj said.
