Igor Popovic detained for 30 days over statements about the KLA at a memorial for victims in Orahovac

Igor Popovic, Assistant Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, who was detained at Brnjak over statements he made about the KLA during a memorial for Serbian victims killed in Orahovac, has been ordered into 30-day detention.
Popovic was detained on Friday evening, and yesterday a 48-hour police custody was ordered.
Today, he was brought to court in Pristina in handcuffs. His questioning before the Special Department of the Basic Court in Pristina lasted about an hour and a half.
After the detention order was issued, Popovic was transferred to the detention unit in Gnjilane.
