Jevtic: Police turned back buses with Serbs from Strpce who went to the protest in Rudare

The Kosovo police stopped and turned back the buses with Serbs from Strpce who went to a peaceful protest in Rudare, and issued fines to all those who did not have Kosovo identity cards, Strpce Mayor Dalibor Jevtic announced.

"Serbs from the south of Kosovo and Metohija went to a peaceful protest in Rudare today in large numbers. The Kosovo police stopped and returned the buses with Serbs from Strpce and issued fines to everyone who did not have Kosovo ID cards. An example of the democracy and freedom that Kurti is talking about," Jevtic posted on Twitter.

He also revealed that "on the way, police patrols stop targeted vehicles and take passengers' data with the message 'be good, if there is a problem, we will know who is to blame'."

"After all the freedoms that have been abolished, they are trying to abolish our democratic right to peaceful protest," Jevtic said.

According to the information of Novosti, the police also stopped Serbian vehicles that went to Rudare from other locations, from Babin Most, Vucitrn, Gracanica, and Pomoravlje.
